Superintendent of Schools Mark Vianello emphasized that the district’s ability to navigate financial shifts stems from consistent oversight. "Our ability to act from a position of stability and thoughtful analysis is a direct result of our School Board’s years of disciplined, fiscally responsible management," said Superintendent Mark Vianello. "By making the decision to reduce our district-level footprint, we are fulfilling our promise to keep resources where they matter most: in the hands of our dedicated professionals who serve our students every day."
The district has maintained a healthy fund balance, remaining stable while also continuing course offerings such as advanced academics, Career and Technical Education, and the Arts.
School Board Chair John LeClair reiterated the board’s commitment to the community’s primary focus. "Every decision we make is filtered through a single lens: how does this benefit the child in the classroom?" said School Board Chair John LeClair. “We are ensuring that the quality of instruction remains uncompromised. Our focus remains on our students and their success.”
CCPS remains committed to its goal of becoming an "A" rated district.
